Welcome!  I am a Rochester area photographer who provides a full range of family portraiture, commercial, and fine art images.  Formally trained as an educator, I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Toronto and I hold a Master of Arts degree from Alfred University. 

Photography has been a lifelong pursuit.  I learned the technical and foundation skills through the training and tutelage of some very talented individuals. More recently I've studied at RIT's College of Imaging Science to broaden my artistic and interpretive ability.  I will likely be a life-long student because I believe in the value of constant growth in one's understanding. 

Capturing images has provided countless opportunities to share with others and reach out in novel ways. Indeed for me, it's all about showcasing the moments of a lifetime and creating a lasting impression.  I take great pleasure in making pictures that capture attention and evoke emotion. 

As you chose a photographer realize that each of us is unique because of our experiences and therefore, we each see differently through the lens.  I am an educator, father, and husband. I am also an adventurer, outdoorsman, and naturalist. Perhaps my most important assets are my curiosity, patience, and motivation to embrace life.  I hope my images put a smile on your face and cause us to connect.  I look forward to meeting you!
